This is my younger brother, whenever he needs to get his hair cut, I have to take him. His previous styles have been influenced by me and there was a point in time where we both did have the same hair style (Sides: level 1 or 2 fade, v-cut at the back with a tail and a fringe) with a slight variation. I shaved my hair off for the new year and it’s grown back very quickly. I had a massive urge to reach for the clippers but didn’t, so instead I decided to go and ask for a trim instead. I wonder how long it will be when I go to Vietnam and I will see whether I like the length or whether I’ll go back to my old style, I do miss having one side shaved. Whenever I missed a man in my life, I would just touch my hair – is this weird?
The best memory of men and hair was when I turned up to K’s house with my shaved head underneath my hat, only for us to reveal our hair and for him to say “We’re not supposed to have our hair cut at the same time.”
